BLUR LONDON exists for those who no longer want to compromise or settle for less. For those who don’t want to choose between product efficacy and the principles that they hold most valuable. For those who demand real results, but also care deeply about how their products are made, the impact they have on their skin and the mark they make on the wider world. That’s why we focus on vegan ingredients, cruelty-free formulations, and sustainability at every stage. Without ever compromising on the effectiveness of our products.

We care about creating sustainable products and packaging at BLUR LONDON. Our focus on sustainability shows through in everything we do - from sourcing and manufacturing through to packaging and shipping - so we can make sure we have the planet’s best interests in mind.

Everything that we create is 100% vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable - we believe in giving back. We never compromise on our formulations but strive to create sustainable balance in our range of skincare.

We give back by planting a tree for every full-sized product sold, thanks to our partnership with One Tree Planted a charity committed to supporting global reforestation.

Made in England, we’re committed to keeping our carbon footprint low through minimising transportation and dedicating ourselves to sustainable, recyclable packaging. We eliminate waste wherever we can in the product, to keep the world around us safe.

Our packaging is made with Post Recycled Materials (PCR) and biopolymers made from sustainably sourced sugar cane. We also make sure that all of our paper materials are either made with FSC certified paper or made from recycled materials to preserve the forests around us.

As a beauty brand, we want to make the world a better place and our commitment isn’t just skin deep. Sustainability and the environment is woven through everything we do.

MADE FOR COMBINATION & OILY COMPLEXIONS
As a skin-type-specific skincare brand, our expert formulators in England craft the most effective products for combination & oily complexions. Our products are a reflection of the significant amount of time we dedicated to developing our formulations. We invested the time to get it right and to create products that not only deliver meaningful results, but also are in-line with our values.

MADE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
A recent consumer study conducted in 19 countries revealed that not only 35% of the global population suffers from oily skin, over 60% of people with this skin type also reported that their skin is sensitive. To be as inclusive and accessible possible, we choose to formulate our products free from alcohols, oils, sulphates, fragrances/perfumes, essential oils, masking agents, and other sensitising ingredients. Not only do our expert formulators in England rigorously test every one of our products before they hit the shelves, all our formulations also go through a 48h skin sensitivity test on humans, conducted by third party dermatologists.

PATENTED HYPER FERMENTATION TECHNOLOGY
Our high-performing formulations are based on essential actives, proven acids, and fermented botanicals. We use a patented Hyper fermentation process that recovers 100% of a plant’s bioactive compounds. Something that is not possible with the traditional fermentation process. During the fermentation process, compounds are made molecularly smaller in size, which improves absorption as they penetrate better into the skin. The technology allows to drastically increase the effectiveness of plant Phyto-complexes, allowing the development of new vitamins, glutathione, proteins, and amino acids.

MULTI-ETHNIC APPROACH TO SEBUM CONTROL
Several studies show that both sebum production and composition vary based on ethnicity. Hence, topical solutions available are often not suitable for all people. Therefore, a multi-ethnic approach to sebum control is needed. By formulating with high-performing ingredients shown to have real effect on skin from different ethnicities, we can provide a better solution to oily-skin challenges. For example, the seeds from the Red-Lip-Tree, a 100% natural active ingredient, has proven to control excessive sebum production, and minimise the appearance of imperfections and large pores in specifically the skin of people of colour.
